On Sunday’s “The NFL Today” pregame show before Sunday’s wild-card game between the Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars, Cowher was favoring the craziness of the fan-based Bills Mafia as he crashed through a long table while yelling “Buff-a-lo,” splitting the furniture in two with a two-handed spike.

Mind you, Cowher has a way to go before he can stack up with some of the WWE’s finest table smashers. But it’s a start.

“The past 14 months have been the best of our lives as we have had the wonderful privilege of beginning our journey through life together in marriage,” the Vuolos told Us Weekly. “We both looked forward to the joys of marriage but neither one of us fully understood just how amazing the start of this journey would be. Truly, the Lord’s mercies are new every morning! Now, the journey has taken an exciting turn: We are expecting our first child!”

They also shared a Bible verse (Psalm 139:13-14) to commemorate the occasion:

13 For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

Jinger Vuolo, 24, and Jeremy Vuolo, 30, tied the knot in November 2016. The couple has been looking forward to having children for some time, and whether or not Jinger Vuolo was pregnant was a frequent topic on their show, “Counting On.”

“I love kids,” Jeremy Vuolo told Us Weekly in 2016. “I really share Jinger’s love for children.”

The couple’s child won’t be the only Duggar baby ushered in this year.

Joy-Anna Duggar and her husband, Austin Forsyth, are also expecting their first child later this year.

She soon struck a more defiant chord, suggesting during a news conference that anger over the image was a political cover.

“We all know what’s going on here. They’re using me as a shiny object so that nobody’s talking about his FBI investigation…I’ve had everybody turn on me. I just want to make everybody laugh.”

She went on to call Trump a “fool.”

“My impression is that they have mobilized their Army,” she said at the time. “It’s quite clear to me that they are using me as a distraction. I’m not going to be collateral damage for this fool. I think he’s a fool. I think the president is a fool.”

She became emotional, asked what the future holds: “I don’t think I will have a career over this. I’m going to be honest. He broke me.”

Turns out, he didn't.

“We also want to thank the very bright and talented doctors and nurses at Children’s Hospital who treated Billy, and not just Billy, and many kids with so much care and compassion … children from every income level whose health is especially threatened right now because of something you probably never heard of,” he said, holding back tears. “It’s called CHIP [Children’s Health Insurance Program].”

CHIP helps families who make too much money to qualify for Medicaid but can’t get coverage through their jobs, according to Kimmel. He told the audience that CHIP may be cut off for some families because funding has not been approved by Congress.

“Billy’s doing great by the way. He has one more surgery,” Kimmel said. “They say he’s probably on track to win at least a bronze medal in the Olympics in 2036.”

Billy was born with a heart defect in April and underwent his first surgery at three days old. Kimmel opened up about his son’s health just days after bringing him home for the first time.

“He will have another surgery in three to six months,” Kimmel said at the time. “And, a third, hopefully non-invasive surgery in the future.”

Mariah Carey finds her New Year's tea, takes Twitter by storm

Mariah Carey got another chance to perform during “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” after bombing last year, but she didn’t just slay her performances — she became an internet sensation in the process, and it was all thanks to her love of tea.

>> PHOTOS: New Year's celebrations around the world

At Sunday evening’s event, after she had finished performing her first song, Carey noticed that there was no tea on hand to warm her up in the tundra-esque New York climate.

>> PHOTOS: Freezing temps don’t deter crowds at Times Square for New Year’s Eve

“I was told there would be tea. Oh, it’s a disaster!” she told the audience. “OK, well, we’ll just have to rough it. I’m gonna be like everybody else with no hot tea.”

Given Carey's diva reputation, the request was fairly mundane. But social media users had plenty to say:

But of course, Carey always gets her own way, and in the end, she found her tea.

The pop icon announced the news that she would be performing at the televised celebration in a joint statement with Dick Clark Productions, saying, “We can all agree that last year didn’t go exactly as planned and we are thrilled to move forward together to provide America with an incredible night of music and celebration on ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2018.’ See you in Times Square!”

In a public spat, the singer blamed her disastrous performance last year on ear piece issues and later accused the production company of purposely attempting to sabotage her. Dick Clark Productions denied involvement in Carey’s meltdown in a statement:

"In very rare instances there are of course technical errors that can occur with live television, however, an initial investigation has indicated that Dick Clark Productions had no involvement in the challenges associated with Ms. Carey’s ‘New Year’s Eve’ performance. We want to be clear that we have the utmost respect for Ms. Carey as an artist and acknowledge her tremendous accomplishments in the industry."

“It is difficult to perform in Times Square,” Seacrest followed up on his "On Air With Ryan Seacrest" radio show last January, “[Carey] knows what Times Square is about. It’s complicated. Imagine every single TV outlet in the world was there. So, there’s all kinds of technical things going on."
