Union Baptist Church: Hosts The I Am Worthy                                    (Suicide Prevention Awareness) Forum                                                Featuring: Joshua Rivedal in The Gospel According to Josh                                                       A compelling  and entertainig funny play about life   This forum is open to all! Please come and join us to have this conversation The Emerson Theater Collaborative (etc) and New York Playwright, Producer and Actor, Suicide Prevention Activist, Josh Rivedal expressed our commitment to finding a solution to Suicide. We deeply feel that without community and love no one can heal. This project brings to light the importance of Suicide Prevention in relation to the mental health initiative and re-building our communities. On April 5th -7th , 2013  Union Baptist Church will host the The Emerson Theater Collaborative's production of  (The Gospel According to Josh) written by Josh RIvedal and directed by Josh Grobain.  This one man show  encompasses a 30 character, 7 song show, about a small town boy who follows his dreams to Hollywood despite the tempestuous relationship with his pious father. Along the way he must navigate his religious upbringing, an escape to New York, his starring roles in two reality TV shows, and ultimately his father's tragic suicide. Discussion will follow each performance.   The Wall of Yellow Weekend I AM WORTHY T-SHIRTS are available on our website Support Suicide Prevention and  wear T-shirt on this weekend   QPR Training will be available for those who wish to participate on Sunday April 7th.   Where Union Baptist Church, 119 High Street, Mystic, CT 06355 Time: Friday @ 7pm, Saturday @ 7pm, Sunday @ 4pm Refreshments and pre entertainment at 6pm Suggested Donation $8 Seniors/ Students and $10 General Audience   Emerson Theater Collaborative seeks to collaborate with our educators, churches, local organizations, and senators, to help prevent suicide. By partnering in education of our state, cities, towns and communities about suicide, its effects and its prevention through the arts, we believe we can make a difference in our community and our world.
