Sponsored by Below is a brief summary of Edgar's outstanding accomplishments:Edgar Montenegro joined Strategies for Wealth in 2011 to enhance an already successful career in financial services. An award winning associate in his first year, Edgar made a transition and became a member of the management team in 2012. Edgar’s well rounded knowledge of financial services and relationships with his clients have been enhanced by his diverse background. Edgar has always maintained a keen interest in the world of finance. Having graduated from Fordham University in 1994 with a degree in Finance, an M.B.A from University of Phoenix and currently pursuing the highly regarded CFP designation from The American College, Edgar serves as a valuable resource to his clients and colleagues.Edgar’s derives his greatest satisfaction from his firm belief of “serving others before self”. He dedicates time and energy to his community through the Locust Valley Rotary. He is a volunteer fireman at the Locust Valley Fire Department and is a member of a committee of Communilife and Life Is Precious in New York City. Born in the boroughs of New York City, Edgar resides in Locust Valley with his soon to be wife, Nicole and their four children. Edgar is actively involved in their sport activities as well as his own. Occasionally, you will find Edgar taking on challenging endeavors to raise money for charity.
