Want some of Oprah’s favorite things? You can on Saturday in what’s got to be the world’s biggest yard sale.
The 59-year-old media mogul says she wants to live the life she talks about and get rid of clutter.
So she is getting rid of thousands of items from her Santa Barbara, Hawaii and Indiana homes through an auction.
You can buy the goodies either in person at the Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club or online here.
Here are some of the gems in the bunch:
Vespas in yellow, orange and purple signed by Oprah saying “Enjoy the ride.” Those are expected to go for $1,000 – $2,000.
Oprah loves to collect dolls, but she tells Entertainment Tonight that guests complained about waking up to 12 dolls staring at them, so many of them are up for auction including this 19th century doll expected to fetch $5,000 – $8,000.
Oprah’s also selling off silk chairs, sofas and other ornate furniture. She says, “I want a living room where the dogs will feel comfortable on the chairs.”
She’s got steamer trunks, armoires and this 19th century set of library stairs, which is expected to get $1,000 – $2,000.
And then there’s the Louis XVI chest of drawers — the most expensive item on her list — could sell for as high as $50,000.
Proceeds from the auction benefit Oprah’s Leadership Academy For Girls In South Africa.
