Cox Media Group Long Island has an opportunity for a highly talented Digital Sales Account Manager. Do you have 1-2 years digital agency and/or media experience with proven results in outstanding support and campaign execution? Have you had success in working on small to large digital ad campaigns and are looking for the perfect environment to grow? This person will: support Digital sales and planning in all aspects of digital campaign execution; manage day-to-day lead-up and delivery of campaigns; Work with current sellers to help them sell new digital opportunities such as search, reach extension, and mobile products; Help create and implement world-class client presentations, rationales, ideas, promotions and campaigns for digital products of WBAB and WBLI; Provide and/or assist in all digital campaign recaps, including web metrics and screenshots; Serve as liaison between sales, programming and digital teams to ensure our Digital Department is delivering high level customer service in fulfilling the creative needs of all Digital projects and participate in training programs to learn more about our systems (ex: Arbitron ratings, CSS, CDS, audience rankings reports, schedules, etc)

The ideal candidate should:

  • Possess the ability to exercise creativity, problem solve, work intensity and ambition.
  • Have a fantastic “can do” attitude with the ability to trouble shoot, problem solve and navigate in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be pro-active, detail oriented, and possess good follow-through while adhering to deadlines and be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks sufficiently while working independently.
  • Have experience in selling search engine optimization, search engine marketing, audience reach extension products, mobile, and traditional display/audio digital media.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability anticipate the needs of and deal with multiple personalities and projects.
  • Have strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
