Al Levine On The Scene plays the hits to get you through your afternoon along with traffic for your ride home! WHO IS “AL LEVINE ON THE SCENE?” Radio is totally who I am. I live and breathe to broadcast to you! I love bringing you guys the music and giving a little insight along with it. A great sounding radio station like BLI makes the music sound better too don’t you think? I always hope what I do has a positive effect on you the audience. Whether it’s a smile, a laugh I give you or just helping you rock out while you’re driving home, hearing about that always makes me feel great and remind me why I got into all of this in the first place.

Being able to contribute to some of the great charity organizations across Long Island through public affairs shows and appearances on their behalf is always an honor and a privilege too! The way I see it, it’s always about making a positive difference. MUSIC? I am the total “pop guy” and love everything I play on BLI. It’s great to have a superstar like Gaga in our line-up! If she is in fact the second coming of Madonna that’s fine with me, love her too! Rihanna is amazing and Avril Lavigne is pretty cool (even though she spells her name wrong!) I have also been known to rock out to the occasional R+B, Jazz and Classic Rock-The Beatles! (BAB anyone? :)

OTHER THINGS? I’m always up for a vk to the Rocky Coast of Maine with my lovely wife Laura in the Summer!  Sci-fi geek? Yeah I guess-Can’t wait for 2013 and the new Star Trek movie! Closet Gleek?

Well I do think I sound great singing along to all the BLI hits –especially with my headphones on for some reason! I love google maps! –I think I’ll go explore and see what street views of Dothan Alabama look like now! SPORTS? Jets! Knicks! (If they ever play again!) Islanders! (As long as they stay on Long Island!) And, oh yeah! YANKEES! I bleed in pin stripes!
