Here come the Super bowl commercials! By Al Levine On The Scene
The memories are like all the hit songs from all the different years.
Betty White getting flattened in a scrimmage football game, the Coke guy getting busted for buying Pepsi, Ray Charles and the Uh-huh girls and who can forget Michael Jordan and Larry Bird playing H-O-R-S-E!
They all make big impressions driving sales for a product and then it’s a new game with new commercials the next year.
USA Today gathers volunteers every year to watch and score these commercials every year with hand held meters thus ranking them. Some of the commercials mentioned above are among the top ranked of all time!
Like hit songs, they stand out each year like a collection of items out of a time capsule that represent trends and styles.
I’d expect this year will have plenty of memorable commercials yet again making what plays in between the game just as, if not more fun to watch! Here's a preview!
