Kesha’s Lyrical quandary

I guess the timing on Kesha’s song “Die Young” could have been better in the wake of the 12-14 tragedy in Newtown Connecticut.

She co-wrote the song before the event though she still felt badly about it.

Those lyrics and the event itself are not a good mix when you really think about it. She did go on to say “ the point of the song is the importance of living every day to the fullest and staying young at heart, and these are things I truly believe.”

You might not have even thought that much about it but it is interesting to point out that hit music relies on good timing.

Around the time of 9-11-01 a song by Marc Anthony called “Tragedy” had a similar problem.
