So it’s the New Year and you’ve been watching what you eat right? Well, if you’re getting your supermarket shopping list together make sure you add these items to your list to help flatten your abs.
1. Plain or Greek yogurt: Not only is yogurt good for us, but it's also good for maintaining your flat abs! Pick up either plain or Greek yogurt. It’s got probiotics that helps to keep your digestive system healthy which means it helps with gas, bloating and constipation and that will help to keep your abs flat.
2. Whole grains: Instead of white rice and bread, get your hands on 100-percent whole wheat bread, lentils, and brown rice. It will help to mobilize fat storage.
3. Cruciferous vegetables: Any vegetable that contain vitamins A, C, and K, folate, beta-carotene, calcium, magnesium, and fiber is great for you. So pick up some broccoli, Brussels sprouts, asparagus, peppers, and yellow beans.
4. Monounsaturated fats: Olive oil can help reduce belly fat, so cook more with that!
5. Vinegar: According to a new study, 1 or 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar daily for 12 weeks is shown to significantly lower body weight, BMI, belly fat, and your waist! Sounds gross…but hold your nose and suck it down and you’ll be on the road to a tighter tummy!
