British Pop’s biggest night - The 2013 British Music Awards - took place last night at London’s O2 Arena. 

The big winner of the night was Scottish singer/songwriter Emelie Sande who picked up the British Album of the Year award as well as best British Female Solo Artist. Mumford and Sons picked up an award for the best British Group. Although Adele didn’t attend, she nabbed the British single award for her song Skyfall. She’s busy preparing for this Sunday’s Oscars ceremony. 

For the international awards, The Black Keys picked up Best International Group, Lana Del Ray picked up Best International Female Solo Artist and Frank Ocean grabbed an award for the best International Male Solo Artist. One Direction was named Brits Global Success winner and the boys got an award for that.
