My good friend, and local Long Islander, Barret Beyer is one of this seasons contenders on FOX's Hell's Kitchen, hosted by Chef Gordon Ramsay. I had him come down to the BLI studios to show off some of his culinary skills - and he can sure cook up a mean risotto verde!
Barret has been a fan of the show since season 1, and has been saying that he wanted to end up in Hell's Kitchen - and now in season 11, his dream has become a reality.
Barret has been cooking for various places all over Long Island, and he is currently working at The Emporium in Patchogue and Bread and Butter Bistro in Holtsville.
You can catch Barret on Hell's Kitchen, Tuesday's at 8pm on FOX. Let's hope Barret wins so he can cash in on the $250,000 prize and obtain a spot at Chef Ramsay's restaurant in Las Vegas!
