How much money did celebrities make when they started out?

"Parade" magazine put together this list of how much money some celebrities were making when they first started working . . . versus how much they make now.  Ready to feel poor?

--RYAN SEACREST.  Made $10,800 as a 20-year-old radio DJ in Los Angeles in 1995 . . . and will make $15 MILLION this year.

--JOHNNY DEPP.  Made $13,500 selling pens over the phone as a 20-year-old in 1983 . . . and will make $50 MILLION this year.

--"Hunger Games" author SUZANNE COLLINS.  Made $31,300 in 1991 writing for Nickelodeon TV shows . . . and will make $10 MILLION this year.

--CARRIE UNDERWOOD.  Made $15,980 as a waitress in Oklahoma when she was 20 years old in 2004 . . . and will make $20 MILLION this year.

--"Wimpy Kid" author JEFF KINNEY.  Made $52,000 working on video games in 2000 at age 29 . . . and will make $25 MILLION this year.

--SARAH PALIN.  Made $64,000 as the mayor of Wasilla, Alaska when she was a 32-year-old in 1996 . . . and will make $1 MILLION this year.

--JON HAMM.  Made approximately $14,350 for much of the '90s as a waiter . . . and this year he'll make $2.3 MILLION from "Mad Men".
