You know those Bloody Marys that come with a celery stick and maybe a strip of bacon? That’s adorable.
A Long Island restaurant has officially said, “Hold my vodka.” Claudio’s Waterfront in Greenport is serving a $120 Bloody Mary that’s topped with an entire 1¼-pound Maine lobster, eight shrimp, bacon, olives, celery, and grilled jalapeños. At this point, it’s less of a cocktail and more of a seafood buffet that accidentally fell into a glass.
Honestly, ordering this thing feels stressful. Do you sip the drink first? Eat the lobster? Ask your server for melted butter? Or just start handing shrimp out to strangers at the bar?
The over-the-top creation has gone viral on TikTok, with people making the trip to Greenport just to see (and photograph) the monster drink. The restaurant says they’re now selling around 20 to 25 of them every week.
For $120, I don’t want a garnish... I want a waiter to crack the lobster for me, feed me a shrimp, and call my boss to tell them I’m taking the rest of the day off.
Still, if you’ve ever complained that your Bloody Mary “needed a little something extra,” congratulations... you’ve officially been outdone.
