Officials haven’t seen one this big in 20+ years

A 35 foot whale was discovered beached on lido beach monday morning. Officials say that while beached whales are extremely common, they haven’t seen one this big in 20+ years. The photos are bonkers - you can check them out here - you have to see them to believe it.

A necropsy, which I’m guessing is like an autopsy, was set for yesterday & then an eventual burial will be planned. But where the hell do you bury a 35 foot whale?!
