Backstreet Boys icon AJ McLean is officially stepping back into the spotlight solo… and Long Island made the list.
AJ just revealed the first dates for his upcoming Alexander James: The Better Man Tour, with a stop at The Paramount on October 25, 2026. Tickets officially go on sale Friday, May 29.
The tour name itself feels especially personal. “Alexander James” is AJ’s full first and middle name, signaling a more stripped down and authentic era for the singer outside of the Backstreet Boys universe. Fans have already seen him lean into the “Alexander James” identity on recent solo music releases, and The Better Man Tour seems to hint at growth, reflection, and a new chapter creatively and personally.
So far, AJ has teased only a handful of dates, calling this “just the beginning” before a full tour announcement expected on Father’s Day, June 21.
Current “The Better Man Tour” Dates:
- October 20, 2026 — Brooklyn Bowl — Brooklyn, NY
- October 24, 2026 — Wellmont Theater — Montclair, NJ
- October 25, 2026 — The Paramount — Huntington, NY
- November 6, 2026 — Hard Rock Casino — Atlantic City, NJ
The Huntington date is already generating buzz online, especially with Long Island’s massive Backstreet Boys fanbase. The Paramount stop also puts AJ in one of the region’s most intimate venues compared to the arena-sized shows fans are used to seeing with BSB, which could make this a pretty special night for longtime fans.
Showtime for the Huntington date is currently listed for 7:30 PM.
