Hey Long Island! Couldn’t be more excited to be competing for my 2nd year in a row in the Miss Long Island Pageant! Through the last two years, I learned that pageants aren’t just about wearing pretty dresses, but about giving back to your community. As a born and raised Long Islander, (woop woop Commack represent!) I hope to represent Long Island in this way. My platform is body neutrality, which is an understanding that as people, there are always going to be things we don’t like or wish to change about ourselves. However, those “imperfections” never have or will mean someone is undeserving, or unworthy. It’s about loving yourself, and championing you at all times.
