The Best Deals for National Cheeseburger Day

Happy National Cheeseburger Day!  A poll for it found 82% of Americans love them.  But what’s the best CHEESE to put on there?

In the poll, American cheese was the winner, but just barely.  66% like it on a burger . . . 65% like cheddar . . . and swiss is next at 43%.  Then it’s pepper jack at 40%, and provolone at 31%.

A bunch of fast-food chains have deals today.  Here are five ways to get a burger for free, or almost free . . .

1.  McDonald’s:  Double cheeseburgers are 50 cents today through their app.

2.  Burger King has deals for the next three days.  Today, reward members get a free cheeseburger with any purchase.  Tomorrow, it’s a free Whopper Jr.  On Wednesday, Whoppers cost $3.

3.  Wendy’s:  Through Friday, Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers cost one cent with any online purchase.

4.  Dairy Queen:  Free cheeseburger with any order of $1 or more.

5.  White Castle:  Buy-one-get-one sliders through Wednesday, but only one per customer.  Krystal has $1 sliders today through their app.
