This week’s BLI Healthcare Hero is Nicole from Shirley! She was nominated by her mother, Jeanne Jakum. Here is was her mom had to say:
My daughter worked through the entire pandemic! She worked double shifts as a vet tech at Selden Emergency vet hospital. Not only that but she then volunteered to shop & deliver to elder people food etc. (not charging them) during the pandemic. She is still working double shifts taking care of all animals during their time in need! She is truly selfless.
