Bob Saget’s Daughter Shares Text Message From Her Dad Before His Death

If you’re an 80′s baby or a 90′s kid, the news of Bob Saget’s passing hit you hard. We grew up with Bob! Whether you loved him as Danny Tanner on “Full House” or hosting “America’s Funniest Home Videos” on Sunday nights, Bob was THE MAN when it came to our childhood TV life.

Bob passed away this past weekend at the age of 65 in an Orlando hotel room after having just performed a stand up show in Jacksonville. His daughter, Aubrey, shared what we would believe to be one of the last pieces of communication she had with her father, a text message he sent her before he hit the stage Saturday night.

Reported in the NY Post, the text message, which was posted to Aubrey’s private Instagram account, reads “Thank u. Love u. Showtime!”

“We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today,” the Saget family said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter.”

Rest in peace, Bob Saget. Us 90′s kids will never forget the comfort, laughter, and warmth you brought us each & every week.
