March 4, 2026 — Evening

Authorities say police in Ventura County received reports of a vehicle driving erratically on a freeway. Officers pulled the car over and identified the driver as Spears.

Late Night Arrest

Spears was taken to a nearby hospital to get a serum BAC level, then arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and taken to Ventura County jail. Reports say she was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the stop. Sources have confirmed Britney was extremely emotional at the time of the arrest. Spears was booked and later released through a cite-and-release process, meaning she did not remain in custody.
