Just when we thought the upcoming TRL Reunion couldn’t get any more millennial-coded, Lance Bass may have spilled the beans on the biggest bombshell yet...(so on brand).
TRL is making its return this week in New York City, bringing back one of the most iconic eras of pop culture with surprise guests, performances and plenty of Y2K nostalgia.
But now we may have our first confirmation about who’s showing up.
While replying to an Instagram post about the reunion, *Lance Bass confirmed that FOUR out of the five NSYNC members will be there.

He didn’t reveal which four, so naturally there’s one question everyone is asking:
WHO’S MISSING?!
Our guess? Justin Timberlake. But to be very clear, that has not been confirmed.
It’s also unclear whether Justin could still make some sort of virtual or Zoom appearance, so we’re definitely not ruling out a surprise just yet. 👀
If our guess is right, that would mean Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick could all be together for the TRL reunion — which is basically enough to send every millennial who raced home from school to watch Carson Daly into cardiac arrest.
For now, the only thing Lance has confirmed is the number:
FOUR. OUT. OF. FIVE.
And considering *NSYNC and TRL basically helped define an entire era of pop culture, seeing four members together for this reunion would be a seriously full-circle moment.
