Most Americans are watching their budgets for meals EXPLODING . . . so would you switch to a Chipotle-only diet to save money?
There was a rumor online that Chipotle was launching a subscription service: Unlimited meals for $59 month. It’s NOT true . . . it came from a social media feed that does satire, and was clearly labeled as fake news.
But that got one TikTok’er thinking: This could “save a lot of people’s pockets.”
He said, “If Chipotle comes out with that $59 per month subscription . . . [let’s] assume it’s one per day . . . that actually might reset the economy. The average person spends about $200 to $300 on groceries . . .
“If you can spend $59 and get one burrito per day . . . the average person probably takes maybe like two meals to eat a burrito . . . and then maybe you get some eggs for breakfast . . . you’re spending about maybe $85 to $100 per month on groceries.” That IS intriguing . . . but again, it’s not a real thing. Yet.
Chipotle hasn’t commented.
