On this week’s #UpNextMusic, Nick Tangorra sits down with emerging star Sabrina Carpenter to share her side of the story surrounding her hit “Skin.”
But first, they chat about her upcoming project on the big screen. Last fall, it was announced that Sabrina Carpenter will produce & star in ‘Alice in Wonderland’ on Netflix. While she does not give much away on the tentative date of when this new project will release, she does say, “We’re in the middle of it right now, so it’s definitely coming soon.”
The movie will be a contemporary take on the classic Lewis Carroll story. While details are being kept under wraps, the modern-day musical will be set against the backdrop of a music festival called “Wonderland.”
While we look forward to that, Sabrina Carpenter’s name is in the headlines every day with speculation swirling around the love triangle between herself, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star Olivia Rodrigo and her co-star Joshua Bassett. Is Sabrina “that blonde girl” or is it all just speculation?
Sabrina insists, “There is just so much that people don’t know.”
