On Sunday, the search went on for Blue Point’s own Gabrielle “Gabby” Petito. By late afternoon eastern time, the detective assigned to Gabby’s case had to deliver unfortunate news that it was believed that the body of Gabby was found in the Grand Tetons. The news broke the hearts of millions rooting for a miracle of Gabby’s safe return.
Blue Point’s Joseph Petito, father of Gabby, shared a heartbreaking post to his Facebook page remembering his daughter. While there is yet to be news confirmed that that the family had confirmed that it is Gabby, it seems as though they have come to realize the sad fate of this situation. Joe Petito and mother Nicole Schmidt continue to advocate for Gabby, sharing memories of her in her youth on social media.
