How To Get Involved with Girls Inc. of Long Island

In the season of giving back, imagine giving back to your daughters, and having it impact them for a lifetime.

Girls Inc of Long Island encourages girls to be strong, smart and bold.

In partnership with schools and community organizations, we provide research-based programming that allows girls to navigate gender, economic, and social barriers, so they can grow up healthy, educated, and independent. As a girl-led organization, we also advocate for legislation and policies to increase opportunities and rights for all girls. Through our holistic approach, we aim to create generational change and a more equitable Long Island.

Girls Inc offers programs help these young girls empower and lead, encourage them to improve their education through STEM, and a program that I personally believe should be taught in all schools, teaching them about mental health, and the importance of their self-esteem confidence. They also have programs for older girls, centered around finding their career path.
