Jessica Biel is heading to the Playboy Mansion!
The actress has officially joined the cast of Playmates, an upcoming movie from Searchlight Pictures, where she’ll portray the wife of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner.
But there’s a twist! While Hefner was married three times in real life, Biel’s character is entirely fictional. She’ll portray a former Playboy Playmate who becomes his wife.
And the cast is already turning heads!
Bill Pullman will take on the role of Hugh Hefner, while Lily-Rose Depp will play an aspiring Playmate. Indiana Elle will also star.
The film follows a 13-year-old girl who considers the Playboy Mansion her second home. There, she forms an unlikely friendship with a young woman competing to become Playmate of the Month.
Adding another Hollywood connection, the movie is written and directed by Lorraine Nicholson, daughter of legendary actor Jack Nicholson. The story is inspired by her own childhood experiences spending time at the Playboy Mansion.
An official release date has not yet been announced.
What do you think of the casting? Can you picture Jessica Biel as Hugh Hefner’s wife?
