Johnny Depp Reportedly Out As Captain Jack Sparrow

Actor Johnny Depp, dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow, of "Pirates of the Caribbean," took part today in "Worlds, Galaxies and Universes: Live Action at The Walt Disney Studios" presentation at Disney's D23 EXPO 2015 in Anaheim, Calif.

Looks like Johnny Depp’s run of playing Captain Jack Sparrow in Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean movies is over!

The movies’ producer Jerry Bruckheimer confirmed Depp would not be in the next film. When asked if Depp would be returning to a potential sixth Pirates of the Caribbean, Bruckheimer said it is unlikely “at this point.”

Now, while nothing has been set in stone, it doesn’t seem like we’ll see Johnny Captain Jack ever again. Is this all because of the Amber Heard trial drama or do we think it’s just time for Disney to move on?

Apparently, the film series is being rebuilt & will feature Margot Robbie as the new lead in the movies.
