I feel DISRESPECTED. Julie Andrews, will NOT be reprising her role as Queen Clarisse Renaldi in the highly anticipated third installment of the Princess Diaries movies.
Julie Andrews confirmed the casting decision herself, saying, “I think I probably passed… I think I’m retired, really, would be about the best description for that.” Evidently, it was Andrews decision to not return for the third movie, as she mentioned Disney had been asking all last year if she would be up to it. “It was very very hard to say ‘no,’ but I did because I thought I had a wonderful ride, and this one I felt would flourish very well and wouldn’t need Granny going in there at my age.”
If it’s what our queen wants...I guess it’s fine.
