“Move your body, it will help you to feel better, give you energy and lift your spirits. Schedule it in and make it a priority. Too busy? 10-20 minutes of exercise a day consistently makes a big impact. Take a walk or do a quick home workout. During this holiday season you can get some added benefits while you’re out and about by parking further away and taking the stairs!”
Leigh-Ann also stressed the importance of hydration! “Get your water in! If you struggle with this, start with the simplest way to implement more water in your day with these suggestions. Start your day first thing with a full glass of water. Have a full glass with every meal and another after dinner!”
“Be kind to others AND yourself”, Leigh-Ann suggested. “The holiday’s bring enough stress. Don’t focus on perfection. It doesn’t exist anyway. Focus on progress! At the end of the day remember to listen to your body. Give it the essentials it needs and let go of the guilt!”
