Nick Jonas is coming home to New Jersey for a huge celebration and the best part is fans can attend for free!
The Jonas Brothers star has been announced as the headlining performer for New Jersey’s official celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. The event, called “Rev, White & Blue,” will take place on Thursday, July 2 at SHI Stadium on the Rutgers University-New Brunswick campus.
The celebration marks the 250th anniversary of New Jersey adopting its first state constitution on July 2, 1776. Organizers say the event will feature interactive exhibits, historical tributes, family friendly activities, educational programming, fireworks and a headline performance from the New Jersey native himself.
Nick shared his excitement about returning to his home state for the milestone event, saying New Jersey will always be home and that he’s proud to celebrate such an important moment right here in the Garden State.
Free tickets became available beginning June 17 on a limited basis, so fans hoping to attend will want to grab theirs quickly. Tickets are being distributed through Rutgers for the “Rev, White & Blue” celebration at SHI Stadium in New Brunswick on July 2.
The event is free, but tickets are required and are limited to 4 per household/address.
