NY Mets adds sensory nook to Citi Field

The New York Mets have made a new addition to their ballpark - a Sensory Nook!

The announcement was made on April 19 via. the New York Mets. The new “dugout” made its debut to the ball park on April 18. The new area is a way to comfort those who struggle with ADHD, dyslexia, and autism to escape the hustle and bustle of a busy ball game.

This couldn’t have come at a better time - April is Autism Awareness month.
