NY raffles off 50 full college scholarships for vaccinated 12-17 year olds

Any person between 12-17 years old who get fully vaccinated will be entered into a drawing for free college tuition for any state school.

8-month-old is youngest in world to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

In an announcement Wednesday, the state is throwing more incentives at young people who are not yet vaccinated. Currently, the state has offered lottery tickets, state park passes, and game tickets. Now, it is being taken a step further for teens. Any person between 12-17 years old who get fully vaccinated will be entered into a drawing for free college tuition for any state school. All would be covered, including room & board, good for a 4-year degree. The raffle happens now through July 17. Cuomo states that Federal COVID-19 relief and outreach funds will cover the costs of the incentive.
