It’s been 30 years since RENT changed Broadway, and some very familiar faces are coming back to celebrate.
A special RENT 30th Anniversary Concert will take place for one night only on Monday, October 26, bringing together performers from throughout the musical’s three-decade history.
The first group announced includes several members of the iconic original Broadway cast: Idina Menzel, Adam Pascal, Anthony Rapp, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Fredi Walker and Wilson Jermaine Heredia.
The concert will also benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, making the anniversary celebration even more meaningful.
And you don’t have to be in New York City to see it. The performance will be streamed live from Broadway, with livestream tickets available for $30.
Thirty years later, RENT clearly still has plenty of seasons of love left.
