TEKASHI 6IX9INE is still upset that his single "Gooba" finished at #3, behind Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber's #1 hit "Stuck with U", and "Say So" by Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj at #2.
In a video yesterday, he slammed "Billboard" as "corrupt", and said someone maxed out six credit cards buying "Stuck with U" at the last minute to get it to #1.
But Ariana responded, saying that they EARNED their #1. She unleashed her thoughts in a long Instagram post, without mentioning 6ix9ine by name.
Among other things, she said chart numbers aren't a driving force in anything she does, BUT, quote, "OUR fans bought this song (never more than four copies each, AS THE RULES STATE) . . . sales count for more than streams . . .
"To anybody that is displeased with their placement . . . take a moment to humble yourself. Be grateful you're even here . . . that people want to listen to you . . . It's a blessed position to be in . . . Congratulations to all my [peers] in the Top 10 this week. Even #3." (Which of course is 6ix9ine.)
