Guy Gets DUI & Then Thinks The Cops Taking Him To Jail Are His  Uber Drivers

DALLAS, TX - JUNE 13: The shattered window of a police cruiser is seen outside the Jack Evans Police Headquarters on June 13, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. A lone shooter in an armored van, believed to be rigged with explosives, opened fire on the station early Saturday morning. The shooter reportedly unleashed multiple rounds and planted explosive devices around the building before leading police on a chase that ended in a standoff in the parking lot of a fast food resturant in Hutchins, Texas. Avoiding getting a DUI is so easy these days with Uber & Lyft & all these ride sharing apps at our fingertips. If this guy had just used Uber to begin with, this story wouldn’t even exist, but he’s an idiot so.... 40-year-old Travis Howard got a DUI on Saturday after he rear-ended another car at a stoplight near Fort Myers, Florida.   When cops asked how it happened, he couldn't remember. Then he refused a breathalyzer, failed several sobriety tests and when they asked for his license, he handed them a hotel room key.  He’s doing good!  They eventually put him in the back of a cop car. Then on his way to jail, he forgot he'd been arrested & here’s the best part, he thought the cop was an Uber driver and asked if he could go straight to bed when they got to his hotel.  Turns out he has a pretty long rap sheet, and this is his fifth arrest in less than a year.   His new charges include drunk driving, and causing damage to someone else's property while driving under the influence. —
