Long Island has taken it's first steps to help contain COVID-19. According to Newsday, a drive-thru testing site has officially opened at Jones Beach.

The site is operating from 7AM – 7PM and that appointments must be made through the call in center. No doctor referral is needed in order to be seen. In addition, a second site is said to be opening in Suffolk County at Stony Brook’s campus.

The health care provider ProHEALTH also plans on opening two new drive-thru sites on Wednesday at their Jericho and Little Neck, Queens locations. In order to be eligible for the ProHEALTH test, you must already be a primary care patient under the provider.

If you or someone you know thinks you are feeling symptoms, call 888-364-3065 to make an appointment.
