There’s A LOT going on in the world right now, and I think we could all just use a feel good story. Here’s a story that made my day:
Long Islanders, AnnMarie Buonaspina and her mother, Maryanne, are two incredibly gifted musicians. Both are quarantined in their own respective houses but figured out a way to still play together. Watch as AnnMarie plays violin in her home and her mother plays piano in hers.

“Somewhere Over The Rainbow”, the classic song from The Wizard of Oz - but it’s this rendition that gives me chills and brings a tear to my eye.
Now It should be noted, Maryanne is a Music Teacher in the Brentwood school district and annMarie is the orchestra director at locust valley central school district as well as my guitarist and one of my absolute best friends! I mean I was in her wedding and I might’ve whispered I do during the ceremony! We’ll save that story for another day!!!
