There was a little interruption during the Giants and Cowboys game at Metlife Stadium Monday night. A furry friend-specifically a black cat- somehow entered the stadium and started roaming the FOOTBALL FIELD in the middle of the game.
Kevin Harlan's Westwood One radio call of the cat on the field is, as you might expect, an all-time great call. How much of a pro is Harlan? He worked a sponsor read into it. pic.twitter.com/3x0MVNEHNY

The cat was spotted at the 50-yard line, and play stopped for two minutes as the cat made it’s way to the end zone, making the stadium go wild.
Eventually, the cat made it’s way off the field, after Metlife staff tried chasing it for a little bit. It exited the stadium, making fans cheer once again.
Apparently, the cat is still missing. Metlife went to Twitter to report that they are still in search for the cat, and will take it to a vet once they find him.
For those wondering about the status of our furry friend 😺 at tonight’s @Giants game👇

The black cat ran off the field and disappeared under a seating section. Once we locate and safely capture the cat, we will take it to a veterinarian for examination. #BlackCat | #DALvsNYG
Hopefully the cat is okay, so we can continue with memes and jokes like this:
This black cat has spent more time in the MetLife Stadium endzone than the NY Jets https://t.co/1bPKHwU9Mg
