Right off the Academy Award stage, opening the show this past Sunday, Queen and singer Adam Lambert announced their upcoming documentary The Show Must Go On: The Queen + Adam Lambert Story. Named for the track from the band's 1991 album Innuendo, Rolling Stone reports that the documentary offers "rare concert footage, behind-the-scenes clips and exclusive interviews," including an interview with Rami Malek, tracking Lambert's career from American Idol star to the singer who stepped into Freddie Mercury's shoes. Set to air on ABC on April 29, The Show Must Go On seems like a clear attempt to continue riding that Oscar-winning Bohemian Rhapsody wave ahead of the group's upcoming summer tour. Still, plenty of Queen fans are probably down to spend some time with Brian May and the gang, not to mention Adam Lambert, or they'e absolutely against it because Adam Lambert is NOT Freddie.
