One of my favorite songs off the album is "Shallow," which opens up the movie.
Shallow, is all about the surface and shallowness of a relationship and how they yearn to find more than that, a deeper connection, which they later on find between each other. It’s my favorite part of the movie and the tune is super catchy. I can’t get it out of my head! It might make you realize that the relationship you had was shallow, and the new one you yearn for is just around the corner.
The other two, "Always Remember Us This Way" and "I'll Never Love Again" really helpsyou stay clear headed about a break up. If you’re going through a recent break up, you will know that it’s easy to resent that person for breaking up with you, but always remember us this way helps us remember our ex in a positive light so the pain is less painful and we are able to get through the break up.
“I’ll never love again,” brings a new meaning to the word love. It’s about yearning for that unconditional love that you once had and afraid you will never have it again but the song helps your realize that someday when time heals, you will find that love again.
