Remember spending way too long wandering the aisles of Blockbuster trying to decide what movie to rent? There might finally be a way to bring a little bit of that nostalgia back.
A new website called BingeBuster is giving streaming a serious throwback makeover!
Instead of endlessly scrolling through rows of titles on your TV, the site lets you browse your streaming options in a virtual video-store-style experience:
The concept is basically Blockbuster for the streaming era. You can explore a digital store, check out movie titles and find something to watch without feeling like you’re stuck in an endless streaming scroll.
Even better, BingeBuster can connect with popular streaming services, including Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and Max, so you can see what’s available across the services you already use.
This new app is designed to recreate some of the fun of physically browsing a video store—something many of us lost when everything moved to streaming.
And honestly, sometimes scrolling through 10 different streaming apps looking for something to watch feels like a full-time job.
If you’re feeling nostalgic for the days of grabbing some snacks, walking around Blockbuster and judging movies entirely by their cover, BingeBuster might be worth checking out.
Just don’t expect someone to remind you that your rental is due tomorrow 😉
