RHONJ’s Rachel Fuda Talks Drama and Reunion on Tangorra Takeover

The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s newest cast member, Rachel Fuda recently joined the Tangorra Takeover with Nick Tangorra on 106.1 BLI to dish about the current season of the Bravo TV show and all the drama that comes with it. The conversation covered a range of topics including Rachel’s hopes for the reunion, Teresa Giudice’s wedding, and her pre-existing friendships with Melissa Gorga and Dolores Catania.

During the interview, Rachel expressed her desire to work through her issues with fellow cast-mate Danielle Cabral and hoped to find some resolution at the reunion. “We need to work through some things and get out how we are feeling. I don’t know where we are at. I hope that we can have some type of resolution at the reunion and we can get to the bottom of it, but you’ll see a lot unravel the rest of the season and it’ll make a lot more sense, but things are just weird.”. She also commented on the ‘thick’ and ‘heavy’ atmosphere in New Jersey this season, hinting that there’s much more to come in the remaining episodes.

One of the major events of the season was Teresa Giudice’s wedding, and Rachel had some opinions about who attended and who didn’t. She mentioned that her BFF and ‘Friend Of’, Jenn Fessler, who was invited, left early and regretted it later. Rachel suggested to her not to leave early. “I told her, you should not leave the wedding early…and she knows and we’ve talked through it. She had a very nice relationship with Teresa. They really connected on a deeper level. They had a very nice friendship and still have a very nice friendship so for her to leave didn’t feel ‘true blue’ to me. I was like ‘why are you leaving?’ And she knows that and owns that, but for me it was a little bit of a different circumstance.”.

Rachel did not go to the wedding. She said “Through the entire season I made a promise… between John and I, we said we were going to be one hundred percent real… there was going to be no B.S. and I have to be who I am… and that’s what I did.”.

When asked if she regretted not attending the wedding nearly one year later, Rachel remained firm and stated that it was the right thing to do for her. “I don’t have any regrets about not going. It looked like a really fun wedding, but it was something that I felt was the right thing to do. I feel like it would’ve been so easy to just go… but to me it’s principle.”.

Lastly, Rachel touched on her pre-existing friendship with Melissa Gorga, explaining that they’ve known each other for years through their eldest songs being best friends. While Teresa and her sister-in-law, Melissa have had their fair share of ups and downs, Melissa and Joe were also noticeably absent from Teresa’s nuptials.
