So Long Island’s own, Jesse Findling from Massapequa pulled up to the BLI studio last week, and casually made dreams come true. Ever wondered what the American Idol Golden Ticket looks like up close? Because.....same. As we know, show movies has a lot of tricks up it’s sleeve. My first question was.....did you get to keep the golden ticket? The answer was an immediate yes.
About the golden ticket itself: it is sparkly, sturdy, and honestly even cooler in person. A piece of the show you would never want to let go of.
Jesse also shared casting for the next season is about to start. You have to be between 15 and 28 to audition.
His biggest advice? Post, post, post. Post on social media. Even 50 followers can get you noticed just like it did for him! Don’t be afraid, give it your best. And you never know who will be watching.
Jesse made it to the Top 12 on American Idol, and will be returning to the show on May 11th, so keep your eyes peeled for him then! And can confirm, as a lifelong fan of American Idol, I absolutely fangirled when he brought it out. Bucket list moment officially unlocked. Thanks, Jesse!
