The Bachelor (season 1) was the first season of ABC reality television series The Bachelor. The show featured the first bachelor, Alex Michel, courting 25 women. The season premiered on March 25, 2002, and concluded on April 25, 2002. The 23-year-old event planner Amanda Marsh was named the winner and Alex chose not to propose her. They continued to date and eventually broke off the relationship. The show is now in season 6,830,953,000. JK.
