There has been talking about Beyonce’s take on country music, in particular her remake of “Jolene”, a Dolly Parton classic! Who better to ask about it than Dolly herself?

Here’s how “Jolene” sounds from Dolly’s original version, this one sung live!

And here’s Beyonce’s!

I think they’re both great and remakes should have a different feel from the original version. Why bother recording one otherwise?
