Why Letting Your Kids Have Social Media Is a GOOD THING

I know, we couldn’t believe it either

I think everyone can agree, we should all spend less time on social media. But here’s something a lot of parents might not expect. A new report says that banning kids from social media completely or using tracking apps are not always making kids safer.

Researchers found that when kids feel watched or shut out, they tend to hide things instead of speaking up. And that can make risky situations even worse.

So, the study suggests trying to build trust with your kids instead of fully banning them. Focus the conversation around digital safety, so you empower them to make better choices.

Basically, kids should be part of the conversation, and not just controlled. Because they WILL rebel at some point.
