CMG Long Island and the NY Blood Center are going to team up once again to honor those who lost their lives that day by asking people to “Give Life for Lives Lost.”
Starting August 17th join us as we hold blood drives at Fire Departments and colleges across Long Island asking people to roll up their sleeves and donate in honor of someone who lost their life.
106.1 BLI and 102.3 WBAB will run promos, be on site at the events, and thank listeners for their support. Marking 25 years since the tragedy on 9/11, this year especially we would like to remember and honor those who lost their lives and their families.
Each person who donates will receive a commemorative t-shirt to show the world they stepped up and gave life for lives lost
Below are the dates of the blood drives:
Sayville FD – 9/3 from 1:45-7:45pm
East Northport FD – 9/5 from 11a-5p
Bayshore FD – 9/10 from 1:30-7:30p
Babylon Town Hall – 9/11 from 9a-3p
Nassau Community College – 9/17 from 9a-5p
Greenport FD – 9/19 from 9:30a-3p
Hofstra – 10/27 from 4-6pm
