This Pittsburgh-native duo comprised of Michael “Mikey” Foster and Charles “Scootie” Anderson got their start in the music industry writing and producing songs for artists such as Ariana Grande and Jennifer Lopez (the two have their hands in her latest single “Dinero” featuring DJ Khaled and Cardi B). Mikey and Scootie’s credits are well earned, as the two spent the beginning of their time in Los Angeles couch surfing. When the two finally paired up to make their own original music, magic was created. Social House soon found their way onto the charts with their single “Magic in the Hamptons” which features rapper Lil Yachty. Mikey and Scootie were recently on the VMAs to present an award. Social House also performed their song “Squad,” which is about the love you have for your friends.
Brooklyn-based indie/electric/funk/pop (obviously a mix of everything) band argonaut&wasp formed four years ago when Theo (vocals and synth) and Trey (vocals and guitar) met in college. At the University of Vermont, the duo would collaborate and create music to play at shows they booked. Eventually Theo and Trey brought along Alec on the bass and took Chris from trash cans to drums once they needed to fill their band. The four together create music you can’t resist dancing along to. argonaut&wasp is currently recording their debut album in Brooklyn, with shows in New York City and Brooklyn to come soon. Songs to look out for are “Psychedelic Freak” and “Body Sensations.”

Singer-songwriter Brett Miller is a Sofar veteran, who previously played in Patchogue with a fire alarm ringing the entire set, and yet still wanted to come back for another show. Brett Miller came to New York in 2014 after submitting a demo to NYU and getting accepted to their graduate school for songwriting. Miller’s talents really shine through in his deep and smooth lyrics in his songs, which compliment the versatile set of vocals he has. Brett Miller loves playing Sofar shows because of the great community the shows have. He says it’s “humbling to be [playing] with them.” Brett is currently recording new music that will be released soon. Songs to look out for are “Eye To Eye” and “Red Water” featuring rapper Saze.
