Actress Kim Mi-soo, who had a supporting role in the South Korean television series “Snowdrop,” died Wednesday, her agency said. She was 29.

“Kim suddenly left us on Jan. 5,” her agency, Landscape, said in a statement. “The bereaved are deep in their sorrow at the sudden sadness. Please refrain from reporting false rumors or speculation so that the family can mourn in peace.”

In “Snowdrop,” Kim -- whose name was sometimes written as Kim Misu -- plays a student activist who shares a women’s dormitory with Young-ro, portrayed by Jisoo of K-pop group Blackpink, People reported.

“Snowdrop” was produced by JTBC Studios and Drama House and airs on JTBC’s network, according to Variety. In the U.S. and the rest of the world, the show streams on Disney+.

Kim’s credits also include the 2019 movies “Memories” and “Kyungmi’s World,” and JTBC’s drama series “Human Luwak,” “Hi Bye, Mama!” from tvN and “Into the Ring” (2020) on KBS, Variety reported.

According to South Korean media reports, Kim was filming a role in the upcoming series “Kiss Six Sense” at the time of her death, Deadline reported.
